How to get over a Break-up...

Looks like it's Break-up Season again...

So Here Are Some of My Tips on How to Survive a Break-up...

1. Remove him/her from your social network... Immediately
  • Unfriend him/her in Facebook; Unfollow him/her in twitter, tumblr or instagram. You wouldn't want to see your ex posting pics with his/her new found love or whatever the heck he/she's doing right? You'll just go nuts believe me!

2. Stop watching romantic movies and listening to love songs
  • This will just make you remember your happy times together and I'm pretty sure you'll just cry the whole time and regret listening to it anyway.

3. Eat Healthy
  • You might find yourself skipping meals or over eating junk foods and all after the break-up. but you have to stop! You need a healthy mind to fight off your sadness and you can only achieve this by taking care of yourself. You wouldn't want your future self to slap you in the face and tell you "I told you so". Would you?

4. Get plenty of sleep
  • Do you honestly wanna look like a "Walker"? Well, I guess not!

5. Meditate and Pray
  •  Meditation relaxes ones mind and heart and It will help you push away negative thoughts and emotions. Achieve Inner Peace!!
  • Prayer establishes our connection with God and we know that he is the only one who can fully understand what we're going through. He's also the only one who can calm our hearts and gives us strength to get through our heartbreak. Talk to Him and He will give you rest.

6. Talk to your close friends
  • Share your grief with your close friends. In a way you'll find comfort in them but just to be clear... this doesn't mean you can drown yourself by drinking too much with them okay? Drinking and smoking will never relieve your pain... Believe me! Been there, done that!

7. Stop stalking your ex! Stop bargaining!
  • Need I say more??? Don't be a masochist!
  • Put away or give away anything and everything that reminds you of the relationship.
  • And please stop holding your phone waiting for him/her to text or call.
  • Maintain a strict no contact policy and stick with it.
  • Don’t make any calls. Stay away from instant messaging or texting on your cell. Just don’t contact your ex until you are totally and completely sure you no longer want to be with him or her.
  • Tell yourself, It's over. =P

8. Invest in yourself
  • Investing in yourself is probably the best way to self-improvement. Think of the things you wanted to do but haven't had the chance to do it because of whatever reason and then try accomplishing them one at a time.  Do something cool like studying Martial Arts, Learning to play the guitar, Go surfing, Grow a six-pack! LOL! etc. (Trivia: Mine was Muay Thai, Plana, Surfing and Blogging!) =P

9. Know that there are other potential partners out there

  • It's not the end of the world. There's someone out there for you so don't be too dramatic. This situation may just be the lesson you needed to learn before you meet the right person.

10. Suit Up
  • Work hard to bring back your self-confidence. Always remember, looks are nothing without confidence. Go out there and meet new people. Just a reminder... No rebounds please! We don't want to be bad after a break-up right?   Let's not hurt other people.

So... Let's Go Back To Being AWESOME Shall We?
