Hi Guys! First off, I'd like to apologize for the camera resolution used for the photos below. These were random shots during this whole Halloween-Costume-Shopping-And-Fitting Thingy so I really got no time to prepare.  Second, I'm not wearing any make-up during these shoots so no judging please... I just have to share this! Hahaha! 

RUROUNI KENSHIN: EVEN NON-GEEKS DIG THIS!

I practically grew up watching Rurouni Kenshin (or more popularly known here in the country as Samurai X), that's why I'm uberly attached to the movie frachise (Yes, I remembered crushing on Aoshi coz of his awesome hair and stylish coat! LOL!). So of course I did watch the premiere of the first installment last year in SM Megamall and WOW...  like 80% of the crowd were cosplayers! Awesomesauce" right? Anyway, I recently watched Rurouni Kenshin: Kyoto Inferno... and I must say it's def better than the first!

The setting of the movie was perfect. Even the costumes look so authentic (most especially the police uniforms. Hahaha!). And the characters... I must say they gave justice to their manga counterpart... Well, except for Aoshi! Huhu! Sorry but I really don't find him HOT... AT ALL! Good Thing Hiko Seijuro saved the day!!! Hahaha! (He's Kenshin's kenjutsu teacher and the guy who carried him at the end of the movie). Then there's Misao... The BAD ASS cute girl who stole the reverse-blade sword of Kenshin! Isn't she cute?

I also loved the actor who played Seta Sojiro (the guy who's always smiling and the one who broke Kenshin's shadow sword). Same as with the manga, I feel so weirded out everytime I see him smile and then do some awesome stuff afterwards. Hahaha!!

And now, the fight scenes. Although the fight scenes in the movie are not that uberly violent (Given of course Kenshin's sword is reverse-bladed), it's beautifully choreographed and looks so believable. Although there's just this one fight scene I find so unbelievable... How in the world did Shishio manage to survive after being stabbed multiple times and then was burnt alive. Oh well! Hahaha!! 

Well so far, this is the best anime-turned-movie for me so far. 

Go watch! It's so worth it! 

I just can't wait for the third Installment this September!!!
